Mental Health Residential

We offer residential care to people experiencing a mental health crisis. This is not a “lock up” facility. The residential setting of our facility allows us to provide around the clock care, crisis intervention, medication management and an intensive therapy track to help guide you towards healing.

Self-medication with alcohol and drugs is not uncommon for someone suffering from a severe mental health diagnosis. Our facility is also equipped to provide medical detoxification if necessary, to treat acute withdrawal and provide you with the safety you need in order to start treatment.

Crisis Intervention

Residential psychiatric care offers relief during crisis. When the symptoms of your mental health diagnosis have begun to impair your ability to function, serious treatment is necessary.

A stay at our mental health residential facility reduces the stress from daily activities and responsibilities that can trigger or exacerbate your mental health crisis. Close monitoring means that your needs will be taken care of so you can begin to build towards independent, happy living.

Getting you into residential care during an acute mental health crisis is the most important first step that can be taken. Once you are in a safe environment, we can help create an individualized treatment plan, create an accurate diagnosis, and work on medication management to help you build for the future.

Medication Management

Medication management is more than finding the correct medications. In our inpatient facility, we emphasize comprehensive psychiatric treatment with input from every member of our team. Our care is collaborative, team members work together to assess, evaluate and begin to treat your mental health symptoms.

Psychiatric care from a doctor or psychiatric nurse practitioner is available around the clock. We will assess your situation, identifying the stresses or triggers that might lie under mental health symptoms, and help you build the skills and coping strategies that will allow you to function, along with the correct medication plan.

Medication management also includes the process of identifying the proper treatment for your diagnosis. We will help you find the correct medicine, at the correct dosage, to create the best situation for you, alleviating severe mental health symptoms and allowing you to function.

A Focus on Wellness

While you are in treatment, you are healing mentally, spiritually and physically. You may be dealing with side effects of your mental illnesses, such as malnutrition and other discomforts.

We provide you with a variety of wellness services, including on-site visits from yoga teachers, chiropractors, exercise instructors and massage therapists.

Food is served on-site, and healthy snacks will be provided. Case managers will work with you on nutritional education and creating healthy meal ideas and shopping lists.

Aftercare Planning

The greatest goal of our program is to give each individual the tools and strategies to eliminate or deal with harmful stresses and triggers that have affected their lives. We try to maximize the amount of time you are in safe, secure, and structured community. Stresses will remain out there, but we will help you build the ability to deal with them, and find peace and fulfillment. Our medical team, case managers and therapists will be there to advise you through the next steps.

Case Management

Our team is your advocate. Our goal is to help you clear the obstacles or roadblocks you may be facing. From the major to the minor, our team will work with you on legal, financial, professional or other issues.

Safe Environment

You will have access to a structured, safe, secure environment for hope and healing. With active participation you can begin to create and establish productive daily routines, and work on life skills and learning new coping strategies.

Mental Health Education

Our facility offers educational groups for patients to cope with and understand their mental health diagnosis.  We also offer psycho-education for families, to help them understand your mental health diagnosis, the importance of medication and strategies to help support you.
